Matrix Mixes

Below are the bag mixes and bonding additive used in PermaCrete Martix Mix. All bag mix types below are also available in thirty(30) different pre-colored mixes.

PermaCrete

PermaCrete Matrix

Matrix Mix contains high, early-strength concrete compounds along with a blend of other special cements and additives. Available in 40 lb. bags; white or 30 different pre-colored mixes. Mixes normally set in 20 to 30 minutes at 72ºF, and are open to foot traffic in 12-24 hours, and vehicular traffic in 48-72 hours. Temperature use: 40°F to 75°F.
PermaGrit

PermaGrit Matrix

Matrix Mix with #16 grit coarse sand for "worm-like" finish on vertical surfaces. Available in 40 lb. bags; white or 30 different pre-colored mixes. Mixes normally set in 20 to 30 minutes at 72ºF. Temperature use: 40°F to 75°F.
PolarSet

PolarSet Matrix

Matrix Mix with chemicals to accelerate set-time in cold temperatures. Available in 40 lb. bags; white or 30 different pre-colored mixes. Mixes normally set in 20 to 30 minutes, and are open to foot traffic in 12-24 hours, and vehicular traffic in 48-72 hours. Temperature use: 20°F to 50°F.
PolarGrit

PolarGrit Matrix

Matrix Mix with chemicals to accelerate set-time in cold temperatures AND #16 grit coarse sand for "worm-like" finish on vertical surfaces. Available in 40 lb. bags; white or 30 different pre-colored mixes. Mixes normally set in 20 to 30. Temperature use: 20°F to 50°F.
TropicSet

TropicSet Matrix

Matrix Mix with chemicals to retard set-time in hot temperatures. Available in 40 lb. bags; white or 30 different pre-colored mixes. Mixes normally set in 20 to 30 minutes, and are open to foot traffic in 12-24 hours, and vehicular traffic in 48-72 hours.. Temperature use: 75°F to 110°F.
TropicGrit

TropicGrit Matrix

Matrix Mix with chemicals to retard set-time in hot temperatures AND #16 grit coarse sand for "worm-like" finish on vertical surfaces. Available in 40 lb. bags; white or 30 different pre-colored mixes. Mixes normally set in 20 to 30 minutes. Temperature use: 75°F to 110°F.
Pool Interior

Pool Interior Matrix

Matrix Mix containing flour-type silica for smooth pool interior walls (Can also be used for warehouse floors). Available in 40 lb. bags; white or 30 different pre-colored mixes. Mixes normally set in 20 to 30 minutes. Temperature use: 40°F to 75°F.
Bonding Additive

Matrix Bonding Additive

Matrix Bonding Additive is a high-solids, water soluble acrylic polymer solution that is used specifically for PermaCrete Matrix Mixes. Cement mortars modified with Matrix Bonding Additive are hard, tough, durable and offer superior flexibility, adhesion and impact strengths. PermaCrete’s Bonding Additive comes in five gallon pails.

Matrix Accelerator is a clear, thin liquid which is used to accelerate and shorten the longer, cold-weather set times of Matrix Mixes.
Retarder

Matrix Retarder

Matrix Retarder is a clear, thin liquid which is used to retard and lengthen the shorter, hot-weather set times of Matrix Mixes.
colorant

Matrix Colorants, PermaPaint Chips, Aggregates

Matrix Colorant is a water-based liquid pigments dispersion available in 22 standard colors. Matrix Colorant is added to the Matrix mixture, or used in hand-coloring surface finishes. PermaPaint Chips are decorative vinyl paint chips broadcasted directly onto wet Matrix surfaces before sealing. PermaCrete Aggregates are also used in similar fashion to paint chips, but are fine-grain sand particles.
